The Italian's eyes widened a bit as he watched the Frenchman stand up. Damn it. He didn't want to be left alone...not now. Without taking his eyes off of Francis, Lovino grabbed the remote and turned the television off. He didn't care about the porn that was on the television right now; it wasn't something he wanted to be watching right now. ..Not that he'd be caught dead watching porn. "Y-you're not leaving me alone now, bastard," he grumbled, sending a glare in Francis' direction. He shakily stood up and walked over to the Frenchman. "I mean...you're too scared to be alone right now, right?" Lovino grabbed Francis' arm, hoping he couldn't feel the Italian's trembling.

Francis blinked when the other grabbed his arm. "A-ah off course not." He said as he took lovi's hand. "After all you are mon petit hero, non?" He said somewhat chuckling. Oh Lovino was so cute as he actually wanted to be protected. Dieu- he would watch more horror movies with him from now on. Or perhaps a long walk in the dark. The Italian would cling onto him like dieu- Francis couldn't resist him, really.

Instead of letting go like he'd normally do, the Italian tightened his grip. Part of him wished that Antonio was here- he'd be a better protector than Francis...but he'd have to take what he could get. "Y-yeah. Of course," he murmured. "And if you say that in F-French again, I'm kicking your ass..." Lovino nudged the Frenchman to begin walking, wanting to get back to his room and crawl under the covers. ...Maybe he could go to... No... The thought left his mind as soon as it entered. He couldn't do that. No one was supposed to know he was afraid...especially not Antonio. The stupid asshole'd probably gush over how "cute" he was being.

Francis chuckled some more. He led Lovino upstairs as he held him close. Well it was more the Italian clinging onto him. A door was suddenly shut. "W-who's there?" He asked in the dark as they stood still on the stairs. The Frenchman was getting a little scared now.

Lovino glared at Franics when he heard the damn chuckle. He hated it when people chuckled; it made him feel uncomfortable. The idiot was probably laughing at him for no reason. What the hell did he do to deserve the chuckling? It wasn't like he'd been trying to get Francis to laugh... The Italian scowled and continued to become lost in his thoughts. ...And if asked, that was the reason he jumped when he heard a door shut. He was getting too worked up over a damn movie. It wasn't right. He shouldn't be this scared. "I...I don't see anyone," he murmured, tightening his grip on Francis' hand.

Francis sighed. "zat is was they said too, those girls having a slumberparty..." He mumbled. Not really thinking twice that it would only scare Lovino even more because they were murdered after that one by one. He listened. Nothing. Bien. "Mais- it was probably..." He looked around. "Nothing." He mumbled as he continued walking upstairs.

The Italian frowned, using his free hand to slap Francis. "D-don't say that," he grumbled moodily, his mind flashing back to the movie. He punched the Frenchman again for good measure. They were not in the movie. There was no way there was a serial killer in the house coming to get them. they were fine. Despite his mind telling him this, Lovino couldn't calm down, his body tensing up even more with each step. "W-what is it?" he asked, knowing he probably shouldn't but feeling like he had to. "What the hell were you going to say, bastard?" He tried to make his voice sound firmer and more authoritative than he felt.

Francis shook his head. "Nothing, Lovi." He mumbled as he was still listening. Wait- did he heard a window being opened. He tightened the grip on Lovi's hand. "Let's just head to our rooms.." He said a bit too nervously. He was getting scared now. How stupid it was actually. All because of a movie.

"I...I don't believe you," Lovino murmured, scowling at Francis. He almost jumped when he felt the Frenchman squeeze his hand, but barely managed to keep a hold on his fears. The Italian listened to Francis' words...and for once in his life...he found himself agreeing with them. "Y-yeah. C'mon. Let's move faster, all right?" He just wanted to get back to his room...and be safe...

His eyes darted around the hall... Did it seriously seem to grow a few feet bigger in the course of a few minutes? It was going to take forever to get to his room now...and the Italian wasn't looking forward to the walk. Biting his lip, he tugged on Francis' hand and started to walk a bit faster.

Francis nodded and started to walk a little faster. "Your room is farther, shall I walk along?" He asked as they walked nervously through the hall. His room was in the middle. Lovino's room was however at the end of the long hallway. He didn't really feel like walking along till there. But it was his task to protect the Italian now, right?

The Italian nodded. "Y-yeah....it is," he murmured softly, squeezing Francis' hand as he heard someone's muffled voice. Inwardly, he kept cursing himself for getting scared over something so silly. ...He should be able to walk to his own damn room..but...

He huffed in frustration and ran his fingers through his hair. "You don't have to," he murmured, not wanting to let go of Francis' hand. Antonio's room was closer than his own, right? Maybe he could go sleep in his room...or something. ...Right not...he was supposed to be the one looking after Francis...not the other way around. "I'll be f-fine walking down the hall by myself. It's not that long..." But right now, the hallway never seemed longer.

Francis sighed. The Italian was so resistant. It wasn't funny anymore. Maybe he wasn't so easy to have some fun with than he had planned. Also he really felt like he should bring him to his room. The room that seemed miles away. So dump lovino in his room and then run back to own, sounded like a good plan.

He smiled at Lovino. "I don't mind I'll walk along." He told the other as he dragged him past his room onto Lovino's room. Why was it so far away?!

Lovino frowned, stumbling as Francis dragged him past his room. He looked back at the Frenchman's room in surprise. Why the hell did he want to walk Lovino to his room? It seemed stupid. The Italian would have been fine sprinting down the hallway by himself. "I already told you you didn't have to," he mumbled softly, a light blush covering his cheeks. He really didn't need to be treated like a girl...but at the same time it was nice...

Francis smiled. "Oui, I know zat...mais it is my own fault non? So the least I can do is walk along, right?" He said. He was calming down a little bit. Seriously there weren't serial killars here- wait- there was this Russian...he seemed pretty scary, but he wouldn't be- right? non. The Frenchman wasn't so brave anymore by now.

"I would have been fine by myself," he replied, his eyes darting around the hallway. Why was everything so much creepier now? Normally, he'd have gone to his room by now... A sigh escaped his lips and he shook his head. he was really being childish... The floor creaked as he took a step forward, causing Lovino to jump again. "Are you going to be able t-to get back to your room yourself?"

Francis grinned. "Oui, I can see zat." Like the Italian would be scared to death alone. He then blinked. Oh right he has to get back on his own. That didn't sound nice. "O-oui, off course." He answered a bit nerovusly. Everything was so creepy in the dark.

The Italian frowned. Damn it. Francis didn't believe him. It wasn't that surprising...but he seemed to be acting so smug. Lovino sighed and smirked when he heard Francis' response. "You really expect me to believe that?" he asked, rolling his eyes. "You stuttered, jack ass. C'mon. We're heading back to your room, a-all right?"

Francis looked at the other. Smirking? How dare he! He was protecting him! He hadn't jumped him when he had the chance right? And now?! Now the Italian is making fun of him!
"I am perfectly fine on my own..." He answered. Then right at that moment footsteps downstairs were heard.

Wait- they had been the last ones downstairs, right? Then- no that's redicioulous. He looked questioning at Lovino.

The Italian shrugged, trying to look nonchalant. If Francis didn't want any help, Lovino wasn't going to offer it. And here he had been about to offer the Frenchman a spot in his room. ...Only to help him, of course. There was no way he needed Francis to make him feel safe. But...

A soft sigh escaped his lips and... Goddamn it! What the hell was that noise? His eyes widened and he turned to Francis, unable to his the frightened glimmer in his eye. "W-what the hell was that?"

Francis looked behind him. "Shh..." He said as he walked back towards the stairs. Trying to peek who it was. A broom fell down. Someone downstairs had knocked it over. "Maybe we should hide, j-just in case." He suggested the other nervously.

The Italian jumped when he heard the broom fall over. He couldn't believe they were heading towards the mysterious noise. Shouldn't they been heading away from them? He wanted to pull away and scream at Francis for being such a fucking idiot. They were not supposed to go to their rooms, not away from them! And then, the Frenchman said something that seemed to make sense. Hiding meant that the person who was after them wouldn't find them...and if he stayed with Francis, he could use the Frenchman as a shield... "Y-yeah. Sure. He won't g-get to us, right?"

Francis shook his head. "Non, only if we keep standing here.. s-so" Francis reached for the door of his room and opened it quickly. The foodsteps were now getting on the stairs. He pulled Lovino inside and locked the door. Heavily panting. "Z-zat was close." He said as he held his breath now and listened if he heard someone come near.

Lovino frowned as he stumbled into the room. He collapsed onto the floor, his breathing a bit heavier than normal. He couldn't get his heart to stop beating so rapidly. The Italian frowned and watched Francis carefully, waiting to hear that the coast was clear. After the coast was clear, he could bolt down the hall and to his room without worry. "Y-you think we're we're safe now?"

Francis listened. "Don't know." He whispered and listened again. "I-it's coming closer." He said as he looked a bit panicked at Lovino. God he hated this. Why did they get all worked up because of stupid horror movie?!

What the hell? The thing was coming closer? This wasn't fair....it really wasn't. The Italian bit his lip, trying to hold back the whimper that threatened to escape him. "S-shouldn't you get away from the damn door if the fucking thing's getting closer?" he asked softly. Lovino really should have just gotten his drink and gone back to bed. Then he wouldn't be here worrying about this...
