Kitten Shopping [Francis & Heracles]

Heracles hurried down the stairs to meet Francis, glad to be in dry clothes that were also warm. If there was one thing Heracles really hated, it was being damp. He didn't mind being wet, and he loved being dry, but he hated the part between the two stages were he was just damp.

He shook his head, pushing that to the side. He wasn't damp now, and that was what mattered. Micheal was settled in his room, sleeping ever so cutely on his pillow, his clothes were in Francis's hamper to be cleaned, and he was dry. And thus he was happy.

He smiled at Francis as he approached him, shoving his hands into his pockets. "Ready to go?" He asked, stopping beside him.

Francis got changed in some clean and dry clothes. A bit dissapointed that he hadn't undressed with the Grecian in one room, dieu- zat would've been something. Francis mind most of the time was set on perverted things even now.

He smiled at Heracles as he appraoched him. "Oui!" He said and nodded slightly. Ah finally going out of the house again. Francis loved strolling downtown and shopping so this was rather nice, even though they were just going to the petstore. "Do you perhaps know where the shop is?" He asked the Grecian.

He nodded, opening the door and holding it open for the Frenchman. "Yeah, I know where it is. I've been there a few times in the past. The people who own it are really nice." He couldn't remember the last time he had been there though...He really didn't need the things they sold; he got the cat's food over at the grocery store and only one of his cats had a collar.

He shivered as the wind blew around him, pressing his arms against his sides in an effort to warm up. He probably should have grabbed his jacket before going downstairs...

Francis nodded. "Bien. Lead ze way." He smiled at Heracles and stepped through the door. "Merci." He told the Grecian as he held the door for him open. It was a little cold outside, luckily Francis had put on a vest and wore a jacket, unlike Heracles.

He noticed he was shivering. "You cold?" He asked him. Though it was rather obvious.

Heracles began leading the way to the petstore, smiling as he breathed in the cold air. He was finally doing what he had set out to do this morning; take a walk and get some fresh air. He wasn't upset about finding Micheal though, it was just nice to walk outside after being cooped up inside.

He looked over at Francis, shrugging. "Yeah, I'm a little cold." He said.

Francis unzipped his jacket and hung it around Heracles' shoulder. He clinged onto his right arm and leaned in close. "Zis way, we both aren't cold, non?" He said smiling. Next to that, it had been quite some time he walked like this with someone. He was just using Heracles as an excuse to walk like this. It was nice and warm, somewhat.

Heracles blinked as he felt Francis's jacket drop onto his shoulders, looking over at the Frenchman as he clung to his arm. He smiled, kissing Francis's cheek. "Thank you." It was warmer now, and it was nice walking like this with someone.

He scanned the front of the stores, trying to remember exactly where the pet store was. It had been a very long while since he had gone there, and the last time he had gone the family who owned it had been thinking of moving out of town so he wasn't quite sure what was going on with it. "Ah! Here we are..." He walked over to the petstore, opening the door for Francis.

Francis smiled as Heracles kissed his cheek. How adorable. "You're welcome" He said as he he somewhat cuddled his arm. He couldn't help it, than to think of the man as adorable even if he was around, what? 25? something like that. He seemed older than Francis. It was weird to call an older man adorable, but the Grecian certainly was.

He smiled as Heracles opened the door for him. "Ah merci~" He let go of his arm and walked inside. It was pretty warm inside. He spotted some small kittens right away. He was easily distracted when it came to cute and small, soft things. Especially young animals. He took Heracles hand. "Aaawh, they're so adorable." He told the Grecian as he motioned towards the kittens.

He followed Francis inside, taking off the Frenchman's jacket and folding it over his arm. They were going to go back outside eventually, so giving it back to Francis seemed slightly pointless to him. He looked over at the kittens, smiling as he watched them. "They are adorable..." He said, looking over the things stored on the shelves surrounding the kitten's cage. He resisted the urge to unlock the cage, knowing that that would just lead to them getting kicked out.

He picked up a simple white color, small enough to fit Micheal but one that would expand as Micheal grew. "Would this work?" He asked, showing it to Francis.

Francis smiled and looked at the kittens. Then he snapped back to what they had came for. He looked at the collar Heracles was holding. He nodded slightly. "Oui, I zink so." He said and then looked around for other things. Then he suddenly thought, the kitten needs to do his "Business" sooner or later, they'd hadn't really think of that yet.
So Francis decided to look for the practical things.

Heracles followed Francis around, grabbing things that he thought the kitten would need. Flea spray, a toy, a brush, bag of food...He blinked as they stopped in front of the litter boxes, confused for a bit before realizing that they really couldn't let Micheal outside to do his business without worrying about him running away. Heracles looked over the various boxes before just picking one at random, grabbing a bag of cat litter and a scoop to go with it.

((Tis the cat litter box, or simply just the litter box.^^))

Francis looked at the stuff they had found. He checked if he hadn't forgotten anything. He smiled and looked at Heracles. "I zink, we have everything now, non?" He asked him. He didn't want to go back home and discover then something that they have forgotten something.

Heracles eyed the stuff in his hands and nodded, smiling back at Francis. "Seems like it...we should probably grab a food bowl and a water bowl for Micheal. Though of course we could just use any old bowl..." He shrugged, looking over at the cash register. So the couple had sold the place...they hadn't like teenagers very much, as nice as they were, so seeing one manning the register was unusual.

Francis nodded. "I zink we have some unused bowls in the kitchen in the mansion, so that'll do, right?" He asked him as he followed him to the cash register. "Shall we just split it in half? I mean we both pay half for it?" That seemed like the best thing, since they were both going to take care of the cat.

"Yeah, that'll do." He put the stuff down next to the register, smiling at Francis and reaching into his pocket for his wallet. "Sure, why not?"

...Where the hell was his wallet! He had put it into his pocket this..morning...oh. He blushed lightly, kicking the ground and glancing at Francis. "Um, actually, could you pay for this all now, and I'll pay you back for my half when we get back to the house? I left my wallet in my other pants, which are now it your laundry basket."

Francis nodded. "Ah sure, lucky you just noticed now and not after I washed our clothes." He said chuckling some as he paid for all the stuff. They both carried two bags now. Francis again clung onto Heracles arm and he looked up. "You don't mind, right?" He wondered if the other was okay with him walking like this.

Heracles laughed, nodding. "That is true." He watched Francis pay for the items before grabbing two of the bags, smiling at Francis. He blinked in surprise as Francis clung to his arm again and he grinned, shaking his head. "I don't mind at all; it's nice to walk with someone like this."

Francis nodded and smiled back. Yes it was nice and one way to stay warm and not catch a cold or something. Though it was more of an excuse to walk like this with Heracles. But hey, no one needed to know that now, non? "By the way, should we also take Michael to a vet or something? Just to check if everything is fine?" He looked up wondering at Heracles.

"Hm...." Heracles tilted his head to the side as he thought, biting on his lip. Vets were expensive...but they should get Micheal checked out. "Yeah, we probably should...I'll make an appointment when we get back to the mansion." He nodded, wondering where he put his cellphone. The vet's number was somewhere in that thing, mostly because he worked with the guy though he had called a lot last year when one of his cats had gotten sick.

He pushed the thoughts of that little kitten out of his head, looking around as they walked and smiling. "It's really nice out...you know what we should do? We should have a picnic sometime while it's still nice." He said, nodding once. Picnics were fun...

Francis nodded. "Hmn...D'accord." he felt a little sorry for the kitten. First a bath, then a vet, proo Micheal. He blinked when Heracles changed the subject. Though he happily smiled and nodded. "Uhuhmn... It's pretty nice, non? Maybe we can have a picnic next weekend, hmn?" He asked him as he looked up at the Grecian. He liked the idea. It was nice to picnic. He hadn't done it in a long time.

He smiled, nodding as they reached the mansion. "That would be great." He pulled his arm away from Francis to open the door, holding it open for him. "...I still need to get my wallet from your room..." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. He wasn't normally this forgetful...

Francis nodded and let go of his arm. "A-ah yes." he said as he followed Heracles inside the Mansion. He was a bit dissapointed they were there already. It had been nice to walk like that around and he wished it had lasted a little longer. Though it was nice being back home, in a warm house.
