Kittens don't like water [Heracles]

He bit his lip, holding onto to Micheal and trying to calm him down watching Francis turn on the water. The kitten was moving in his arms, already freaking out and Heracles knew that introducing the cat to the water was going to go horribly wrong for the two humans.

He took a deep breath, smiling slightly at Francis. "Not really, but we have to do this..." He knelt down next to the tub, scratching Micheal's ears as he stared at the water. He pulled Micheal's claws out of his shirt, kissing the top of his head and gently placing him in the water. Which is when all hell broke loose.

Heracles kept a tight hold on the kitten, flinching as his hands became almost immediately covered in scratches. He hissed as one particular scratch on his wrist began bleeding. He watched Francis begin to wash the cat, wincing in sympathy as the Frenchman got scratched and began bleeding. "It'll be over soon." He muttered to the cat, biting his lip and feeling so guilty for subjecting the poor thing to this. But they had to clean Micheal, so thus they had to do this.

Heracles smiled slightly as Francis began cleaning the soap off of Micheal, tightening his hold on the kitten just a little bit. Soon, Francis was done and Heracles took Micheal out of the tub. He set the kitten down on the ground and let go, Micheal immediately shaking himself off and running off to go hide behind the toliet.

Heracles grabbed a towel and tried to get Micheal to come out from behind the toliet, kneeling down beside it. He tried very hard to ignore exactly what he was kneeling next to. "Come on hun, it's okay. We need to dry you off now." He said, his voice sounding as soothing as he could possibly make it. He reached out for Micheal, pulling his hand back when Micheal bite him. "Shit!"

He looked over his hand, eying the bitemarks and frowning. They were bleeding pretty bad, and he had no clue where the bandages were here. So instead, he grabbed some toliet paper and wrapped it around his hand, sitting on his heels. How to get Micheal to come out wthout getting bitten again?

"I'm fine..." He muttered, watching the Frenchman look around the bathroom for something. He tightened his grip on his hand, frowning at the pain and looking over at Micheal. The kitten was staring out at them with the widest eyes Heracles had ever seen on a cat, and the Grecian now felt extremely guilty for cleaning him. He knew logically that the kitten needed to be clean, but emotions never followed logic.

He let Francis take his hand, and he rolled his eyes when Francis sent a glare in Micheal's direction. "It's not his fault; it's a natural response for him to attack whoever was threatening him. I was the threat in this case." He shrugged, wrinkling his nose as blood dripped onto the floor. Blood had no place outside of his body; no place at all.

He raised an eyebrow at the technique Francis used to get Micheal out, though he couldn't deny that it was effective. It was just something he himself never would have thought of. Most likely because he didn't have any hair ribbons. Francis looked really good with his hair down...

Heracles watched Francis dry Micheal, before wetting a towel quickly and wiping up the blood that dripped on the floor. He eyed the scratches on his hands and decided to take care of them latter, reaching around Francis to drain the tub.

He settled onto the floor next to Francis's feet, smiling at Micheal. The kitten was definitely happier now that he was somewhat dry, no longer looking as scared as he had been.

Heracles laughed slightly, nodding. "Oh yes, very glad that it's over." He leaned closer to Francis, petting Micheal. "But now that it is over, we need to think about getting cat food, cat toys, a collar..." He trailed off, frowning at the idea of getting Micheal a collar. But, the kitten would need it if he ever got lost. "Wonder what the rest of the house is going to think about him..."

He nodded, standing up and helping Francis to his feet. "Alright." He looked over their clothes, smiling slightly. "We should probably change though...Should we leave Micheal in one of our rooms?" He wondered, tilting his head slightly in thought. They could let Micheal just wander the house but the kitten could get lost or hurt, whereas if he was locked in one of their rooms he would be safer but he could tear their things to shreds.

Heracles smiled at Francis, nodding. "Yeah...it'll probably be fine." And if not...Heracles was never one for following rules he didn't like.

Heracles nodded, taking Micheal into his arms and holding him gently. "I'll do that then." He said, pressing a kiss to Micheal's head. He blinked in surprise at Francis's offer, tilting his head to the side as he thought. "...Alright, if you're sure."

He smiled at him, cuddling Micheal. "I'll meet you downstairs then?"

Heracles went to his own room, shutting the door behind him and setting Micheal down on his bed before changing. The kitten made himself comfortable on Heracles' pillow and watched the Grecian change before yawning widely and drifting off to sleep. Heracles finished changing and pressed a kiss to Micheal's head before going to meet Francis downstairs.
