Let's Play Pool [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Let's Play Pool [Open]   Let's Play Pool [Open] EmptySat Sep 04, 2010 6:55 pm

Lars was not that interested in all the computer games in the room. They were fun to try sometimes, but not all the time. So Lars was pleased as he saw the game room also contained a pool table. He hadn’t been able to play for a while, but he was sure his skills wouldn’t have changed that much. He used to be pretty good at this game.

He put the balls in a triangle and grabbed one of the cues. Now to find someone to play with. It wouldn’t be impossible for him to play alone, but if there were people around, he preferred to have an opponent. Lars could be pretty competitive, so winning from someone else was always nicer than playing against himself. He spotted someone not far away. “Hey you. Play with me.” He told them as he held the cue out for the other to take.

Sophie hadn't visited the game room yet, and today was a good day to check it out. It was the last room she needed to see, though she doubted that anything there would interest her. Casino games were more of her thing. She opened the door and peeked inside. It was a nice room but just as she thought, nothing really interested her. Sophie stepped into the room, and spotted a pool table. Someone was already there though, and she contemplated leaving. She hadn't played pool for such a long time, she might as well leave before he noticed her.

As Sophie started to turn around, she heard the man at the pool table call out. It sounded more like an order, which slightly annoyed her. She couldn't help but think of how rude he was. Fine, then she would play.

Without saying a word, Sophie walked over and grabbed the cue that he was holding. He was kind of scary looking but she didn't think about it too much. She was in her competitive mode.

Lars hadn’t taken the effort to properly look at who he invited before he had called out to them, so he did that now. A slight smirk came onto his face as the other turned around. A girl, and a pretty one at that. To bad she was looking so serious though. She would look even better with a smile on her face. Still, this could get interesting. She was the first woman he’d seen in the house so far. There were mainly men living here right now. Lars didn’t mind the amount of men, though it would be nice to have a bit more female company.

She didn’t say anything when she took the cue from him, looking slightly annoyed. Lars shrugged it off as he took the other cue and placed the white ball on the opposite side of the table of the other balls. Seeing as he was playing against a girl, he might as well be courteous and let her begin. He gestured to the table, telling the girl that she could start the game. “Go ahead, miss…?” He let his sentence trail off, inquiring to the other’s name.
